Finally, these strikes are coming to an end! Plus, October's here, so our focus is on getting back to business as soon as possible (those Christmas gifts aren't going to buy themselves). This crisp Fall air has us super-charged to hit the ground running, so feel free to check out our blog's tv, film, and music reviews and brush up on what we're digging.
The winds of change are upon us as this hot summer melts into fall. This month, we dive deep into the essence of readiness. Whether change knocks softly or crashes into our lives, being prepared doesn't just mean having a plan; it means cultivating a mindset that embraces the unpredictable and uses it as a catalyst for growth. And if change doesn't come? Our preparedness only means we are even more fortified for whatever the future holds.
As the summer sun blazes bright and warm, we're excited to welcome you to the August edition of our monthly newsletter, aptly titled "All In." Why "All In," you ask? Because that's precisely how we approach every day here at The Minority Connection.
Summer is here, and so is the July edition of our newsletter. This message is just a friendly reminder that you're awesome! Seriously. In this wild world, it's easy to doubt yourself. But remember your talent and voice; they're unique and matter. Don't let imposter syndrome get you down. It hits the best of us, but it's only a roadblock if we let it be.
Can you believe we're almost halfway through 2023? It feels like we just kicked off the year, and now it's trying to speed away from us! That's wild. Anyway, since we're smack-dab in the middle, it's a great time to take a breath, check out where we are with our goals, and maybe do a little tweaking.
The future has arrived. "They've" been preparing us for it for most of our lives, but now the time is upon us. Artificial Intelligence is now available to the general public in a usable way. OpenAI has shared its AI technology, Chatgpt, and it is impressive. And it's only the beginning!
A rocket takes off and leaves its boosters behind as it flies into outer space. It's a necessary part of the process for the ship to get where it's going and for the astronauts to finish their mission. There are a lot of people and materials that make the whole event possible. Some of those people even continue to monitor the ship's progress. Perhaps, out of admiration or desire, but also because, eventually, that ship has to return.
There are a lot of cliches about making things or branching out on your own. If we think about it in story terms, the adventure starts when the protagonist takes the first step towards their goal. Art imitates life in that way. Your choice of profession or desire doesn’t matter because the beginning is the beginning, and you always start wherever you are.
Artists need to explore various ways to express their creativity. The game is constantly changing, so we have to adjust accordingly! Over the years, I've built a small following and helped people succeed in the entertainment industry because I've never been fond of gatekeepers, and I love cheering for the underdog.
